Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on the 13th of February, 1979) is a famous American actress fashion designer and model. After launching her career as an actress Mena Alexandra Svari was a regular as a guest on 1990s TV series Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her film debut was in the drama Nowhere. Following her appearance in American Beauty (for which she was awarded a BAFTA Award) and American Pie which attracted her much attention, she completed the transition to major parts. Her next appearance was in Loser (2000) which was a co-production with American Pie actor Jason Biggs. Then she appeared as the lead character in Sugar & Spice (2002). The year 2002 saw her appeared in Spun the drama that was made by an independent studio as well as the 2004 thriller, Trauma. The year 2004, she starred in HBO's series Six Feet Under. She received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award for 2005 in the category of Outstanding Ensemble. In 2008, she was part of several films such as Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh or the adaptation film to The Garden of Eden. Suvari has appeared in many fashion magazines and blogs as well as Vogue. Suvari is a Lancome model as well as appearing in the advertisements printed of Lancome Paris Adaptive. Suvari has been a loyal supporter and activist for the highly regarded African relief organization the African Medical and Research Foundation. She's an advocate in the cause of female empowerment as well as a participant of a number of organizations fighting breast cancer or the End Violence Against Women movement. Her most well-known work is her roles in television series including Dark Angel Heroes The Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper and most well-known of her peers Rookie Blue. Missy has been the model for a number of prominent brands, such as Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada as well as the Olympics.
